    Training Modules

Didactic and interactive trainings in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and working with non-ordinary states of consciousness. Every module runs two hours as a live online workshop. Meet your instructor.

Each module stands on its own. Begin wherever you feel called — there's no required order, and none assumes you've taken another first.

    Core Foundational Curriculum

Five modules covering the fundamentals of ketamine treatment and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy — from first principles through preparation, integration, and the practitioner's own inner work. Take one, take several, or take them all as a package.

    $350 per module · Full package $1,500

    Friday, September 25, 2026 · 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM PT

A grounding introduction to ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and the wider psychedelic landscape — where this work comes from, what the medicine actually does, and why it is being called a breakthrough treatment.

We begin with the Indigenous roots of healing in non-ordinary states of consciousness and trace psychedelics through modern psychiatry. From there we look closely at ketamine itself: its neurobiology, what it treats, who it is and is not a good fit for, and what a session actually looks like from the inside.

    • Indigenous roots and the history of psychedelics in modern psychiatry
    • What ketamine is and how its neurobiological mechanisms work
    • Set and setting, mystical experiences, preparation and integration
    • Indications, contraindications, and common adverse reactions
    • Routes of administration and the KAP/KAT protocol
    • First-hand accounts: how ketamine differs from other psychedelics

    Friday, October 30, 2026 · 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM PT

Clients rarely arrive without fear. This module is about meeting those fears honestly — and about what to actually do when a dosing session becomes difficult.

We work through the concerns clients most often raise about healing with substances, look at how each one tends to play out in reality, and build practical responses. We also reframe the 'bad trip': what the research says about challenging experiences, and how to stay useful to a client who is inside one.

    • Determining readiness and goodness of fit
    • The six fears clients most often bring to this work
    • How those fears play out in practice — and how to respond
    • The gift of a 'bad trip': what the science and evidence indicate
    • Supporting clients through challenging dosing experiences

    Friday, November 20, 2026 · 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM PT

Outcomes in this work are shaped long before the medicine is taken. This module treats preparation as a clinical skill in its own right.

We cover medical and mental health screening, informed consent around the use of touch, and how to recognize bypassing and avoidance early. Then we get practical about preparing the whole person — body, mind, and spirit — including intention setting, managing expectations, emotion regulation, and practices for going inward.

    • Medical and mental health screening and prep
    • Recognizing bypassing and avoidance in KAP work
    • Informed consent and the use of touch
    • Body: sleep, nutrition, movement, substance use, self-care
    • Mind: intention, expectations, beliefs, surrender, holding uncertainty
    • Spirit: mindfulness, breathwork, journaling, somatic and energy release

    Friday, December 18, 2026 · 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM PT

Integration is where insight becomes change, and it is the part of this work most often under-resourced.

We explore how to process a session in the days that follow — meaning making, parts work, ego and sense of self, symbology — alongside a needed word of caution about trauma 'memories' surfacing during dosing. We close on the real goal: helping clients find medicine in the life all around them, and holding steady through the destabilizing stretches of healing.

    • Processing the journey and the insights of the days after
    • Meaning making, mystical experiences, and parts work
    • Ego, sense of self, and connection to self and others
    • A caution around re-emerging trauma 'memories' while dosing
    • Turning lessons into tangible goals and life changes
    • The destabilizing effects of healing and managing expectations

    Friday, January 22, 2027 · 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM PT

Doing this work with integrity means walking the path ourselves. This module turns the lens around, onto the practitioner.

We look at the wounded healer — how our own material gets activated, transference and countertransference, over-identification and overfunctioning, and the boundaries that keep this work safe. We take an honest look at shadow and blind spots, at what happens when things go very wrong in this field, and at why we need to hold ourselves to a higher standard than the industry currently does.

    • The wounded healer: transference and countertransference
    • Boundaries, overfunctioning, and preventing burnout
    • Shadow work and seeing our blind spots with clarity
    • Safety and ethics in psychedelic healing
    • When things go very wrong: current blind spots in the field
    • Peer consultation, supervision, and accountability

    Friday, February 26, 2027 · 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM PT

An advanced module on facilitation as an art — the elements of Indigenous healing wisdom and ceremony that shape a medicine space, and what it takes to hold one with presence.

We cover setting the tone in preparation, working with energy in the room, building an altar, music as medicine and why the playlist matters, invocation and honoring the medicine, and how to close a circle well. Throughout, the emphasis is on relationship rather than consumption.

    • Setting the tone: the wisdom of the medicine and inner healing intelligence
    • Energy in the medicine space — smudging, sound, and water blessing
    • Creating an altar and working with the elements
    • Music as medicine: why the playlist matters
    • Invocation, intention, and meeting the medicine

A deeper exploration of the cultures, communities, and tribes that have worked with plant medicines for healing — and of how that lineage has been both drawn upon and exploited by modern psychiatry.

We sit with the lessons of that history and ask what it means to blend traditional healing wisdom with modern practice in KAP and licensed psilocybin facilitation. Not yet scheduled — join the waitlist to hear first.

Where psychedelics actually stand in the United States right now — legally, politically, and practically — and how to make sense of a landscape that shifts month to month.

We untangle decriminalization from legalization, look at the federal picture and the effort to reschedule, walk through which states have licensure programs and what they require, and consider where the movement is heading and how to get involved.

    • Decriminalization vs. legalization — what each actually means
    • The federal stance, Schedule I, and rescheduling efforts
    • Which medicines are being fought for, and why
    • States with licensure programs and what they require

Sound is one of the oldest technologies of healing. This module looks at why music matters so much in psychedelic work, and how to use it deliberately rather than as background.

We explore icaros and music as medicine and spirit, sound as catharsis and energy mover, the surprising value of a 'bad' song during dosing, the role of music in ceremony, and the craft of building playlists for KAP and psychedelic sessions.

    • Sound and healing: music as release, catharsis, and energy mover
    • The value of a 'bad' song or sound during dosing
    • The importance and use of music in ceremony
    • The art of creating playlists for KAP and psychedelics

How psychedelics have been used — and misused — in the United States, and how that history shaped the psychedelic renaissance we are living through now.

From psychiatry and underground healing to MKUltra, the War on Drugs, and modern psychedelic churches. We close on recognizing red flags: cults, narcissism, false shamanism, and the role of ego in psychedelic healing culture. Not yet scheduled — join the waitlist.

Preparing for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy or another psychedelic healing experience?

Our group preparation cohort helps you enter the work with more clarity, intention, and support. Together, we explore mindset, expectations, safety, emotional readiness, and how to make the most of your therapeutic journey.

This offering is especially supportive for anyone seeking a deeper sense of human connection before stepping into non-ordinary states of consciousness. Preparing alongside others can reduce isolation, build trust, and remind us that healing is often more powerful when it happens in community.

    Monthly

Our group KAP dosing offering provides a professionally supported therapeutic container for working with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and non-ordinary states of consciousness.

This cohort-based model is one of our specialties. It is designed for participants who have completed appropriate preparation and are ready to engage the medicine work with intention, care, and connection.

While each person's journey is deeply personal, the shared group setting can bring an added layer of support, belonging, and being witnessed. For many, this sense of connection becomes an important part of the healing itself.

Requires enrollment in Journey Clinical patient program

    Bi-weekly Thursdays · 4:00–5:30 PM PST

Already started ketamine-assisted therapy or had a psychedelic experience?

Integration is where the deeper work often begins. Our group integration cohort offers a supportive space to reflect on your experience, make meaning from what came up, and bring insights into everyday life.

This is a place to be heard, supported, and reminded that you do not have to integrate alone. The shared wisdom of the group can help normalize your experience, reveal new perspectives, and strengthen your connection to yourself and others.
